Dingo Servo Mounts were developed as a reliable, low cost method of operating model railway points or turnouts and semaphore signals using freely available 9g servo motors.

Over the development time a range of parameters were created that the latest mounts satisfy.

To be a small, easily assembled kit that would be  simple to put together

To utilise cheap model 9g servos like the TowerPro  SG90 or MG90 items which are freely available from  sites such as Ebay. (The Hobby King HK15178 and  similar will also work.)

To offer a complete linear motion from the rotary  servo.

To be easy to install and operate.

To be robust and long lasting.

To accommodate switches that could be used to  indicate position and/or to power frogs.

To offer a variety of options for connecting actuator  wires or pull rods.

To enable replacement motors to be installed  relatively easily if a motor should fail.
